news from Norwich Community Choir:

I am emailing on behalf of Norwich Community Choir to let our fellow singing lovers know about our 10th Birthday concert. The celebratory concert will be held on Saturday 24 November in the evening in the acoustically amazing Norwich Cathedral!

The programme will include a varied repertoire of heart warming songs across many genres - gospel, folk, choral, Georgian, old familiar popular songs, and some fun and Christmas songs. Of particular note is our exclusive rework of Allegri's Misereri. We have a young and very gifted young soloist, Kyanna, whose voice will soar above the choir and, if rehearsals are anything to go by, will sound wonderful in the natural acoustics of the Cathedral.

In addition we are proud to be associated with and to help raise funds for local charity Nelson's Journey who are celebrating their twentieth birthday this year!

This is a real milestone in our choir's history and we cannot think of a better way to celebrate the last 10 years, from the choir's small beginnings to current level, than holding a concert in our fine City's Cathedral, whilst at the same time helping to raise funds for Nelson's Journey.

We hope you might like to attend to enjoy our vibrant, joyous, harmony, acapella singing.

Tickets are £10 and available from www.ticketsource.co.uk or 07423 118876
